Sunnymede Barn - Home of Sessile Oak

Yes... we make our oak frames in one of our own oak framed buildings.

Combining traditional green oak frame carpentry with modern materials, it has been designed and built with functionality foremost in mind, whilst retaining an attractive form through the use of large arched timbers throughout. In addition to its main working bay measuring 6.5m by 5m, it has a two story office area of 3.5m by 5m, combining to total 10m by 5m with a ridge height of 4.2m and comprising 8 tonnes of oak.
