Farmhouse Sun Room Extension

Custom designed and built with a shallow roof pitch to allow for the position of windows in a renovated farmhouse in west Cumbria, this garden room was designed to maximise privacy whilst retaining open views of its garden through a glazed gable end and full height windows in two thirds of each side. This extension measures 5.7m wide with a projection of 4.1m out from the house and a ridge height of 3m, and comprises 2 tonnes of oak.
