Where traditional carpentry meets modern design. This bespoke designed and crafted oak framed structure features an innovative butterfly roof shaped cleverly to merge seamlessly with the house's existing north porch whilst maximising light to its interior through an extensive glazed frontage. Set within a secluded farm steading in the Lake District National Park, full height windows and doorways overlook a pair of covered patio areas and nearby stream to a private garden beyond. Measuring 8m wide with a projection outward from the house of 5m, the green oak frame comprises 3.6 tonnes of oak.
