Sessile Oak Directions

Churchtown is a couple of miles north of the Lake District National Park, approximately half way between Wigton and Penrith on the B3505.

From the South:

To reach us from the M6 motorway, exit at junction 41 and travel west towards Wigton on the B5305. After 10 miles, you will reach Sebergham. 200 metres beyond the 40mph limit, turn right down into Churchtown. Sunnymede is second on the left.

From the North:

From the North and Carlisle take either the road south from M6 junction 42 (signposted for Dalston) or the B5299 from the city centre (via Dalston Road) to Dalston, through Welton, to the crossroads with the B5305. Turn left and travel downhill into Sebergham and over the River Caldew. Continue uphill for half a mile then turn left into Churchtown. Sunnymede is second on the left.

Visitors are advised to phone in advance to confirm availability.
